Corban G. Rivera, Ph.D.

About Me:
I am currently a postdoctoral associate at Johns Hopkins in the department of biomedical engineering with Aleksander Popel and Joel Bader. I received a Ph.D. and Masters in Computer Science at Virginia Tech for my work on "Automatic Reconstruction of the Building Blocks of Molecular Interaction Networks" with my Ph.D. advisor T. M. Murali. Before starting at Virginia Tech , I studied at Lunds University in Sweden. I received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NC State University in Raleigh, NC. During that time, I worked at the SAS Institute in Cary, IBM Microelectronics, and the late startup NxView Technologies. I have received multiple honors including being named an doctoral fellow of the Institute for Critical Technologies and Applied Sciences (ICTAS) in 2007.
