Meeting Notes for June 17, 2003

Attendance: Ranjit Randhawa, John Archie, Ceci Vasquez-Robinet, Dr Heath.

CVS repository for bioinformatics programs, is still being constructed.

Ranjit would like to include FAMILY column in database table to have an ability to put genes in families. Maulik will be able to help populating this column.

John A will use BioPerl to represent sequence objects visually.

Dr Heath wants a list representation of all genes plus their elements. E.g.

     Elem1        Elem2          Gene1

Dr Ramakrishnan and Bao want to model the data from yeast paper in Science with Gaussian Processes.

John A is working on TonE elements and thinking about including statistics in results.

Ranjit will go through the Arabidopsis table generated and try and find why some Arabidopsis promoters were not found by the script.
