  To clarify the effect of proinflammatory cytokines on spiral ligament (SL) fibrocytes , in vitro studies were performed using secondary cell cultures.

• 15104118(DDT): Induction of inducible nitric oxide synthase and proinflammatory cytokines expression by o,p'-DDT in macrophages.

  The addition of o , p ' - DDT to macrophages induced NO and proinflammatory cytokines production in a dose-dependent manner.

  Here we have investigated the mechanism by which ADP-ribosylation inhibitors block signaling pathways induced in macrophages.

• 6309564(poly-ADP-ribose): ADP-ribosylation regulates the phosphorylation of histones by the catalytic subunit of cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase.

  Therefore , the possibility that ADP-ribosylation may regulate the phosphorylation of histones phosphorylation in nuclei warrants further investigation.
