This study was conducted to investigate CTLA-4 and IL-13 polymorphisms in Chinese pediatric patients with GD and GO.
IL-13 gene polymorphisms were studied in Japanese GD patients (n = 310) and healthy control subjects without antithyroid autoantibodies or a family history of autoimmune disorders (n = 244).
The results of the study indicate that , for our Turkish sample , the V762A polymorphism of the PARP-1 may not be involved in susceptibility to RA , implying that the polymorphism may not function as a candidate gene marker for screening RA patients.
A novel class of quinazolinone derivatives as potent poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP-1) inhibitors has been discovered.
