Lactobacillus GG and L. gasseri TMC0356 characteristically stimulated the production of IL-12 , IL-6 , IFN-gamma and IgA from isolated PP cells in vitro.
Finally , we demonstrated that only PP CD11b (+) DC subset secreted higher levels of IL-6 compared with other DC subsets in the PP and all SP DC populations , and that PP CD11b (+) DC induced naive B cells to produce higher levels of IgA compared with SP CD11b (+) DC.
Together , data provide evidence for a key role of PARP-1 and poly ADP-ribosylation in DC immunocompetence and underscore the relevance of PARP-1 inhibitors to treatment of immune disorders.
The crystal structures of the catalytic fragment of chicken poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (NAD + ADP-ribosyltransferase ; NAD + : poly (adenosine-diphosphate-D-ribosyl) - acceptor ADP-D-ribosyltransferase , EC 2.4.2.30) with and without a nicotinamide-analogue inhibitor have been elucidated.
