Seventy-one subjects were positive for H. pylori infection.
CONCLUSIONS : H. pylori infection increases the expression of NF-kappaB in gastric mucosa , suggesting that NF-kappaB is involved in inflammatory responses to H. pylori.
This work demonstrates for the first time the induction of NF-kappaB activation within gastric mucosal cells during acute H. pylori infection.
Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kappaB) activation was induced 1 h after gamma-irradiation dose-dependently , which was detected by the degradation of I-kappaB.
