Cytokine and TLR4 polymorphisms and their association with the infection history of 129 children hospitalized for bronchiolitis during the first 6 months of life were analyzed.
This study examined the association of IFNG polymorphisms with SLE susceptibility.
RESULTS : SLE patients had higher levels of p53 protein (0.16 + / - 0.33 ng/dl) than controls (0.014 + / - 0.02 ng/dl ; p = 0.006).
ATF3 , but not the Delta102-139 protein , binds the p53 carboxy-terminus and diminishes its ubiquitination and nuclear export.
