RESULTS : SNPs IL6 -174 G/C and TNFalpha -308 G/A are associated neither with T2D (p = 0.89 , p = 0.34 respectively) nor with risk for overweight (p = 0.86 , p = 0.12 respectively) in Tunisian population.
Significant correlations were observed between IL6 and TNFalpha or IL10 as well as IL10 and IFNgamma in infected infants.
BACKGROUND : Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection is the most common respiratory viral infection resulting in hospitalizations in infants worldwide.
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) subverts the antiviral interferon (IFN) response , but the mechanism for this evasion was unclear.
