CONCLUSIONS : 25-hydroxy vitamin D (3) and interleukin-1beta levels were systemically and locally reduced in patients with GAgP by initial periodontal therapy.
Epidemiological studies have consistently associated high intakes of lycopene or vitamin E with a reduced prostate cancer risk.
Taken together , these results indicate that eNOS can regulate the sensitivity of prostate cancer cells to TRAIL , and down-regulation of eNOS activity may sensitize prostate cancer cells to TRAIL-based therapy.
Thus , ATF3 is a key mediator of KLF6-induced apoptosis in prostate cancer cells.
